Ongoing Activities

San Juan, Puerto Rico — SOULAR has partnered with STEM-Puerto Rico, Papa Juan XXIII High School, and University Gardens High School to engage students in hands-on, project-based learning. Through this collaboration, students are working on interdisciplinary projects in mathematics, science, and microelectronics for space applications, gaining early exposure to advanced STEM concepts and real-world aerospace challenges.
Students are preparing to take their microelectronic projects to radiation test facilities (Proton and Total Ionizing Dose in 2026). Data (such as single event cross-sections and total-ionizing-dose degradation) will be collected, analyzed, and graphed.
Students are preparing to present their work at the IEEE Nuclear & Science Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC) July 2026. This will be the first high school student poster session at this conference.
Aerospace Day!!!! SOULAR comes to your school to provide in-person mentorship
